What is a Poker Run?

Is a poker run a big party where you may end up with a cool prize? No, it is much more than that. Most poker runs are set up to raise money for a cause. The proceeds benefit everyone from abused children to women with breast cancer.

Basically in a poker run bikers ride together in a group and draw poker cards at designated stopping points. At the end of the run the rider with the best poker hand wins the prize.

This year's Myrtle Beach Bike Week Run Tour will begin at Inlet Square Mall.

 

 

About the MBBW Poker Run Tour -- Welcome to MBBW Poker Run Tours for 2006. These are guided motorcycle tours around Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. After the introduction of Tour Guides and going over the day’s ride, the riders will leave the parking lot of Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet SC as a group, heading toward Georgetown SC. The next stop is in Conway SC. Leaving Conway they go toward North Myrtle Beach and the Winery. Their last stop is where they started and they will give out all the prizes at the hospitality tent on the event grounds. There is a map on the back of all entry forms for the people that want to ride ahead and meet friends at the stops.
